Pumpkin Seed Oil


We all know that coconut oil possesses great qualities, both externally and internally. I personally cook with it and we use it it many of our natural recipes. It has a beautiful consistency, smells great and carries many positive characteristics.

That said, my husband and I have been looking to produce a new healing balm. This balm would contain some awesome healing oils as well as calendula for its healing properties. Our research brought us to two oils, andiroba and pumpkin seed oil.

For this blog post, I'm going to focus on pumpkin seed oil "PSO" (and tell you about andiroba next time)!

Although coconut oil contains vitamins E and K; PSO is rich in those as well as vitamins A and B (which is connected to cell growth), as well as zinc (which is vital for cellular health and strength). Pumpkin seeds are loaded with all the nutrients that your cells could ever want, like protein, omega-6 fatty acids, zinc, and iron.

So now that I've given you a sneak peek at one our newest creations, I guess we better get mixing!
