It seems lately almost everyone I run into has either some sort of cold, sinus or respiratory issue.
It is flu season, after all and the change in the weather having us with closed doors. I just had a mom in the shop and she was talking about her son, who had been suffering with sinus issues and had to be put on antibiotics to treat them. Poor guy. I believe in modern medicine, but I also believe in preventative medicine and it’s that reason that I suggested she use a cold mist nebulizer with essential oils at night, set on low while he sleeps.
There are specific essential oils that work specifically for sinus issues:
Sinus Clear by True Essence features essential oils of lavender, basil, thyme, tea tree, eucalyptus, rosemary and peppermint. All bacterial fighting as well as helping to open the passageways.
Rep Air by True Essence features eucalyptus, rosemary, cedarwood, tea tree, thyme and pine. These essential oils together help are anti-bacterial, anti-viral, decongestant and help with colds, flu and bronchitis.
Eucalyptus is anti-bacterial, anti-viral and is a great decongestant all on its own.
Thieve’s Oil by Evocative Essentials features lemon, clove, rosemary, eucalyptus and cinnamon bark carries a heavy anti-bacterial, anti-viral punch. (We spray the room with this when anyone who is sick comes into the shop).
I’m not saying that using these oils is going to cure you, (although it could), what it will do is boost your immune system, open up your respiratory tract and help make life a little easier.
