Happy New Year friends!!! It's January, a new month and a new year! This is a great time to do a cleanse or detox. Some people may feel like they may have overindulged over the holidays, have been struggling with health issues or simply want to do an annual cleanse. The start to a new year is an excellent time for a new and improved you!

Some people like to do cleanses every season, so here in Canada that’s four times per year. Others like to cleanse annually and that is great too! In today’s society we encounter numerous toxic chemicals on a daily basis, from the air we breathe, our food, conventional cosmetics and skin care products, furniture, technology, cleaning products and so much more. Anything we eat, breathe or put on our skin containing chemicals gets directly absorbed into our body! So needless to say we encounter a heck of a lot of chemicals on a daily basis.

Your liver is the organ that processes all the toxins in your body so it is especially important to make sure it is functioning optimally. The liver can be overburdened by excess alcohol consumption and many other toxins.
